hi guys,

I just bought a nitro buggy for the first time. I've used electric a lot but never nitro.

Anyway I managed to get it tuned up and running.

Used half a tank of fuel running the car in a line at full throttle like the instructions said but I'm having a problem...

- When I started the car for the first time the throttle/brake wasn't adjusted properly so it was kreeping foreward without me touching the remote....so I attempted to adjust the linkage which made it slightly better but not by much.

the main problem is that now when I start to accelerate the car it suddenly goes to what seems like full throttle and is then out of control....i had to grab the car and cut the fuel supply to stop it. Also had issues with the radio gear going dead when using it over a small distance.

Do i just need to get the throttle linkage right?

Any help would be fantastic

Cheers

Nick

Do NOT start the engine till you know everything is working properly. Make sure the servo moves the throttle the right distance in the right direction.
When you KNOW it's all set correctly, then you can start it.

Good quality battteries are a must for r/c car radios to function properly. Cheap alkalines are not your friend.
