I think I need driving school, or some more parts.
I can't control my tmaxx, it takes off hard and pulls a hard right I correct it it goes goes goes hits second gear the front wheels come up and it acts like a snake, what's up with that...
I tried to slow it down at take off by running a 20t cluth bell and a 36t spur i even tried a 38 spur but it still just goes like hell. Does any one know if I can do something to tame it down a bit at least to the point that its controllable after take off. I was thinking of adding some weight to the front end, i know this sounds stupid, first I'm complaining about it being to fast and now I want to make it heavier. Can some one give me some advice. Thanks

If you want less torque, drop a couple teeth on the spur or add a couple to the CB. What engine are you running?

Ofna .32. How much bigger of a clutch bell can I go, I can go down to a 34 spur, but I don't think it will cut it down that much.

With that size engine, I think space it the only thing limiting the size CB. The engine will have the torque, it's all going to depend on what you can fit. What's the biggest CB you have on hand?

I currently have a 20t bell and a 36 spur. I'm thinking of putting some lead weight on the front so I get a bit of traction, short of that I don't know. The problem is my wheels spin and it loosed the bite and gets thrown all over the place..... And when I correct it I over steer and it gets crazy loose.

I also have a 17t cb, and a 38spur on hand.

You just need to learn throttle control. It’s the price you pay when you have torque at your finger tip.
You won’t find much more of a bigger clutch bell than a 20T in mod 1 to tame the torque. A 20/36 CB/SG ratio is 1.8:1; you would have to do some custom work most likely to get an adequate taller ratio than that.
Installing a Center Diff in the Tmaxx takes a lot of work also. The standard Revo center diff (which is the easiest to install) is not cut out for use with a BB engine, it would require a custom 1/8th scale CD transmission to withstand the torque and I only know of 1 in existence.

I guess with a lead foot comes a trigger happy finger...
Ok, I thought that some one out here had a magic wand of some sort, lol.
That 1/8 center diff, it wouldn't happen to be in a shiny fully moded rc pictured just a bit up and to the left would it...
