Tyres glued?

ok i have some tyres that are glued on and i want to replace the tyres I've ripped as much as i can off

ne ideas on how to get the rest off?

keeping in mind i am in new zealand and mite not be availible to some products

Acetone will dissolve the glue.

And ruin the foams.

If you want them off and you want to keep the foams then boil the tires for 10 minutes and the glue should melt away.

I asume when ripping the tires off, foams are disposable too. But if needs to be clean reusable, bake them. That way you won't have to mess with boiling hot water squirting out of the tires as you try and pry them of the rims.

i have baked and boiled, and the best I've found is baking. it makes the glue brittle and it just chips off. but the wheels and tires on 1oth scale onroad is pretty cheep, may just want to get new ones unless you have aluminum wheels or something.
