Has anyone used or have seen in action the Two-stage shock pistons from RPM. I was thinking of getting a set but i dont know how well they work.

I am running them in my Dynamite/Losi shocks that are on my maxx, they are awesome! They greatly improved the handling on my maxx. I am using them with Trinity blue springs, and 50wt oil. On the compression stroke of the shock they act as a two hole piston, and on the rebound they act as a 6 hole piston. I love them on my truck. Best thing is they are under $10, well worth the money in my opinion.

I use them in every set of shocks I get that can use them.....but I also run them with the med/heavy set with light oil (35 - 40wt depending on terain and size of jumps available) medium and heavy springs in front and heaxy springs in rear.....this setup ROCKS for rough terain...but Sucks for jumping....just my preference

I had them when I had a Maxx and it made the suspension much more responsive, especially if you have a nice set of springs.

I ran a set w/ the trinity dual stage set up but I used a short set of springs a friend gave me that were just like the blue traxxas springs but a little shorter....I used the trinity short springs and it was like buttah over construction site ground....my t-maxx looked like my friends revo cruising over that site....
