All you have to do is swap out the parts from a Flax transmission. One question though....why do you want to do that?

did any one try to turning the savage x or xl (trans gear box) to a single speed
plz any idea?

Just adjust the shift screw to a point where it won't shift anymore.

Or order a set of Flux gears, they should drop right into that trans case.

single speed with make it slow....

the more gears u have the better of both worlds u get... single speed is either top end of acceleration, where as 2 gears is both...

That would depend on the gear ratio you choose to run. Most all truggys are single speed, I wouldn’t call them slow.

Lots of people run a single speed in a Revo or Tmaxx for racing off road when they run a BB, the Savage would be no different and work on the same principal.
Many of use make/use plates that lock the tranny in 2nd gear and eliminate 1st gear and the OWB. I use a variety of gear sets and shafts and customize the transmission internal gear ratio approx between 1st and 2nd and then use the CB/SG to fine tune the ratio to have good bottom end and sufficient top speed.
With a stout engine and the correct gear ratio you would be surprised at what a single speed can do.

Yeh I guess with a BB it would work..

In saying that I don't know of any other motor sport which use a single
Speed... Even drag cars and they use 2/3 speed box's... Go karts even use a 6speed
