I'm getting ready to start a new project, that of turning a old version t-maxx into a .21 with the xtm conversion kit.

While I'm doing this, I'm looking to replace any old worn out parts with newer updated parts. One of which I'd like to place the new RPM Wide A-Arms, though RPM states I need new turnbuckles to be able to do this. Will this be the ONLY thing I need to replace as well to use the new a-arms and my main question is, which company would you guys recommend going with for turnbuckles? I'd like a set of titanium ones.

I don't know if lunsford makes them for the widemaxx yet. I have lunsford on one T, and the traxxas titanium on another T, and I have not had a single problem with either of them. I don't know if you are planning on using stock sliders, I hope not, but if you get cvds make sure you get the longer ones.

What comes with the XTM kit?

THIS SITE. Has titanium turnbuckles..In the Normal and extended version for the 2.5 wide track a-arms.And you can now get them with Titanium ends with the titanium rods.

I use Lunsford titanium turnbuckles on my T-Maxx (I have a set of TRAXXAS titaniums as a spare). They have worked great for almost a year now. Here is a link for Stormer Hobbies that is an upgrade kit for the T-Maxx. This kit works for the 2.5 Maxx, so it should handle the wide suspension you are trying to create for your XTM conversion.
