TUBES Lightweight Aluminum Turnbuckles. Do they really make a difference I read that they are 30% stronger than stock. But when you buy the kit do you get all 8 (front and rear) or 4. What are some other benefits?

I also have been looking at getting some Big Joe Pro-Line 40 series tires with a good looking black bead lock rim (any suggestions). I know the revo has 17mm hubs, But I have read on the forums that I need 1/2" off set in the rims and 4 adapters. Dumb question do to the adapters screw on the old 17mm adapters?

Thanks in advance

I think the tubes come in packs of 2.

I put some 40s on 1/2 offset wabash rims on my revo, but had way too much wheel slop. I tried shimming them and replaced all 4 stub axles, but it still wobbled and shook down the road. So back to the MTs. I will try them again once I upgrade my axle carriers.

It seems like standard may be a little easier on the stub axles and carriers than the 1/2 offsets. It won't be quite so wide.

so from your experience you would stay away from 1/2" offset.

the turnbuckels are more dress up than anything i only bought them after destroying the originals on my truck, they're pretty tough though

My experience with the 1/2 offsets wasn't good. Some others seem to love them. I went back to the standard offset MTs from the 1/2 offset 40s and my problems went away.
Maybe someone else with a different experience can comment, but I would look into the Revo Platinum carriers to run a 1/2 offset 40.

I don't think i want to roll with 1/2" off set 40s. I want to go with the Big Joe Pro-Line 40s and Axial 8-Spoke black chrome wheels.

I want to get my revo to look like Rob and Bigs blacked out Tahoe.

Thanks for the help guys
