Hello all,

I recently purchased a Werks B5 engine for my truggy and today i pulled out the engine and went to put in a O'donnel #97 turbo plug in it and i realised there is no copper washer with them, do turbo plugs need the copper washer?

Thanks,

Jmacca.

Usually if the plug doesn't have a washer, it doesn't need it. If I remember correctly, the turbo plugs don't need them.

Don't tighten them near as tight as you do the standard plugs....Turbo plugs seal very easy, and usually are pretty hard to break loose after the engine runs a bit. Mine does that anyways.

Thanks for all your responses, now I only need to figure out how to get the air filter bit that attaches to the carby on, I think force and swearing will be required...

The air filter boot should just slide onto the carb fairly easily. If you currently have a zip tie on there...cut it off and install a new one once the boot is in place.
