I'm having trouble finding the right spring, oil and piston combo.
I'm a basher not a racer, and I like to go big so I need something that can take a beating(stiff springs and heavy oil)
I have stock springs, oil and pistons now but, I'm constantly bottoming the chassis when I jump it!
Does anyone have any suggestions on a good combo for the long travel rockers?

i tried some 55 wt today, and it is still way to soft for the long travel setup. so i guess 100 wt would be fine with stock springs (blue and silver). have you tried this?

I would not think the long travel would be best for big jumps.Have you considered running p3 rockers?

No, but, it sounds like i should. what springs and oil wt do you suggest running with those?

what about the P2's, would they be worth buying? because I will have to replace my TRX 102mm pushrods that I just bought. They are only good for p1,p2, and LT

From what I understand the higher the # the more progressive the spring rate increases as the shock is depressed.P1= same resistance throughout travel.p2 resistance increase with travel,p3 higher increase as the travel increases. The p1 should give you the best articulation and work well at lower speeds in rough terrain. The p2 the spring rate increases as the suspension is compressed. This is good for all around use,p3 would probably be best for smooth terrain and big jumps. If you use p2 I would say go black springs in the back and green springs in the front with 60 weight oil and adjust from there but that should handle about any jump I would think.I have not used p3's yet but I would say start orange in front and tan in back with 50 wt.

Thanks, I will probably go with the P2's for now, so I don't have to buy new pushrods.

I will try the spring and oil combo that you've suggested.. Thanks!
