i have a 2.5 with the 3.3 on it and it runs fine until it gets to runnin temps. then it starts bogging but if i slowly get it up to speed when it gets into 2nd gear its fine. am i runnin too rich?

thanks

I would say yes its to rich. But how are you judging running temp and what fuel nitro% are you using.

One more thought is our air filter clean?

You need to get a couple new plugs, the one you have is junk. That spiral will fall out and scratch you cylinder. Also try just about anything BUT traxxas fuel. 20 percent with a MEDIUM plug. Also it probably is rich.....or you hope it is anyway....:whhooo: The other answer is it's worn out!!

The pushed in spiral is from running to hot at some point and or just a cheap plug. Like 2revo1maxx said get some better fuel Traxxas fuel is like running dirt in your engine if you ask me. Pick a fuel with a good oil contant 12% to 16%, for 20% nitro fuel 12% oil is fine but I always like running the higher nitro fuels, like 30% nitro. Also in running a higher nitro fuel you can run richer and cooler which means longer lasting engine parts.

oh the motor has about a gallon on it and i am stickin with traxxas for my warrenty i hate it with a passion trust me they need to clean up after runnin their fuel one time! i think it was a cheap plug too idr
