well i got my 3.3 broken in and the hsn tuned. man i love this motor. it just has gobs of power when compared to the 2.5. but when i first start it at idle it has a really high idle ( lean sign on Lsn i think) but it sprays fuel out the exhaust ( rich symptom on the Lsn i know)

I'm having the same problem, but when after i get it stated it gets close to 300 degrees so i shut it down.

nah i never get above 250. i love this thing its great. i always had temp issues with the t maxx

Turn down the trim tab on your radio to zero.
Now adjust the idle speed till it sounds right. If you're spitting fuel at idle, you will probably need to lean the LSN. Leaning that will usually raise your idle some more, so you need to work both needles till it's right.

okay close the idle screw a bit and lean the lsn got it i try it in a bit. thanks rolex

I prefer to do both those adjustments when the engine is running and up to temp, so you know exactly when they're in proper sync.
Make sure you keep an eye on the temp since a too-lean LSN can cause an overheat.

you were dead on i lower the idle and retuned the lsn. now she wheelies so bad i rode the bumper 20 ft

i can't get enough traction on the pavement i can't wait to go the baseball field. i love the 3.3
