Tuning Help

I need some help on tuning my 3.3 Tmaxx. I got my low end tuned good i think because it takes off fines. But when it shifts gear it will start to stutter and die. Sometimes it will shift and go and sometimes it will shift and stutter then die.

I am wondering am i too rich or lean? Witch way do i need to be tuning?

Sounds like you're hsn is lean.

+1 on too lean, try to richen it up...1/4 turn out.

How many turns should i be out for factory settings? I need a good place to start at.

Yes, counter clockwise. 4turns out from bottom for the HSN and 1.5-2 turns out on the LSN. Idle should be set to .75-1mm (thickness of a credit card) for the opening. About half way down the page on the traxxas link.
