i had a leak in my fuel tank so i got a new one and i wanted to get a new exhaust so i did that today at the same time. I installed the new tank and new exhaust, then put back to factory settings then i got one start and my starter box shorted and caught on fire so now i have a new starter box, it starts right up w/ no problem but if i give it gas or take the glow plug ignitor off it dies right away, can someone help with this issue??? I'm at hsn-4 lsn -2.5

Pull the glow plug after starting it and it boggs down. Is it really wet? If so the HSN is way too rich and you're flooding the engine. If its slightly damp its okay. This will give us a place to start...

Factory settings are just a place to get started.

Anyone have any ideas on this one? It still sounds like it is very rich but I would think it would bog down before dying...:surrender

i got it started w/ the stock pipe but i was at 3-hsn 2-lsn and then it kept floodin so I'm going 2 retry tommrow. Any tips would help

too little vroooo cough cough choke ooom

I know its new but check the glo plug just because its new doesn't mean its good. I speak from 40 yrs of automotive parts sales, I can't even remember how many (new) parts are bad out of the box. just my experience (and opinion) not the gospel of the r.c. god's.
also if you flood it enough it will effect the run ability so pull the plug and clip it onto the hot stick if its flooded it will sizzzzzel then get hot and if not the plug needs to be replaced then proceed to adjusting. ok I have flapped too long now. good luck. denny

Heat the engine up with a hair dryer, it helps tons.

i got it fixed, one ring on the glow plug was bad, i was suprised it cause all that problems
