I love that pipe, I have it on my Savage SS. It makes a ton of low end power, but as Boutch mentioned, it is really loud. I happen to like the sound of it.

HPI polished pipe is good. THS would be even better.

And anything besides the stock pipe will out perform a ribbed pipe....Don't get one.

What are you kidding me? The HPI ribbed pipe makes serious torque. It is actually a great pipe unless you want top end speed. I have used this pipe on several different engines, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for torque.

Have you actually used any of the pipes you are recommending?

I've used the HPI polished pipe. I know guys on savage forums that run THS pipes and their engines haul arse...

You will get better overall performance with the polished pipe for about the same price as a ribbed pipe.

The pipe choice really depends on what you want from the truck. If you want top end speed, don't get the ribbed pipe, the THS would be a better choice. If you want a low end torque monster, the ribbed pipe is a great choice.
