Am a NOOB who is also getting into full-size SCCA TSD RALLYING.
( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regularity_rally ). Are there any groups
doing this kind of R/C Racing that incorporates full duplex telemetry and FPV ?
Thank you ! +45 years ago I worked as a HAM radio operator on the comm link
for this kind of Racing while a grad student at Michigan Tech. Course was over old decaying,
ungroomed logging roads. This kind of competition is not so much about SPEED,
as it is timing, navigation, and vehicle handling. Sort of a meld of rock racing, demolition derby,
and DAKAR-style Enduro racing ( https://www.dakar.com/en/ ) but with more obstacles like wide expanses of
bigger rocks to traverse ! ANNIE SEEL ( https://www.instagram.com/annieseel/ ) is a SERIOUS DAKAR Driver.
R.O.A.R might want to dabble in this !

Welcome to the forum. Not sure on that, but sounds like a lot of fun.

Welcome. I know rally RC's are popular in Europe, and have some contests but not familiar with any in the USA.
Thank you. Please let me know if you hear of any. Might be interesting to work with SCCA on this and throw in an element of ISDT ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Six_Days_Enduro )
with pit stops allowed for battery changes or refueling ( nitro / gas ). Running an RC vehicle for several days continuously would sure be a test of vehicle toughness and teams / driver stamina !
