Took a couple of measurements today of my TSAIS Custom Pro. At WOT, it peaked at 106 dbA, idle was around 84-85. Open header idled at 104 dbA, and a blitz of the trigger brought it over 120 dbA. Stock aluminum ribbed pipe at WOT was 112 dbA, idle was 92-93. All measurements taken with my Radio Shack SPL meter @ 1 foot and letting the truck hit 2nd gear, except with open header. It was just too loud and I didn't have earplugs on. Hope this helps anyone wanting to get a quieter pipe for their Savage. There wasn't anyone else running today at my local bashing ground so I couldn't get other peoples measurements, though I know for sure that the Hot Bodies pipe is right between the the TSAIS and the ribbed in terms of noise.

I have been looking for a quiter pipe for my savage and this helps. I got a CVEC pipe used and we'll see how that compares. But damn, those ribbed pipes are friggin' loud, but they do give decent performance.

Anything over 110 dbA is really loud, my ears were ringing for quite a while after the tests.
