Please help us out and answer 2 questions.

When you log on to RCNT, how do you look for the threads you want to read?

After you have read several posts how do you decide what to look at next?

Thanks,
F.E.

1 I check the area's where maybe I can help (cars/trucks/planes/boats I have knowledge in).

2 I just go to the area's where people have posted new stuff.

Do you view the left side Icons in each forum or use the view new post link?

I just start at the top forum and work my way down to the last forum looking for new threads

The left side Icons most of the time.

I use the icons at the left. Often they are inaccurate based on when I was last on. In that case I revert to checking the times listed by each "last" or most recent post in header for each section of the forum on the forum index page. I tried the new post link a couple of times, and it didn't seem to catch all the new stuff since my last visit...

Thats what I do... and once I have gone through everything I want to look at then I hit mark all posts read that way I will only see new ones as they appear. X

I just look for new posts and posts that I can answer. I also dont like looking at really long posts because I get bored from reading all the posts.:p
