Hello
I recently purchased a TRX4 and I’m wondering if anyone can tell me how many Y connectors I can run end to end off the ECU. At the moment I have the Traxxas winch and ProScale light kit coming off 1 Y connector already. But I want to add the Traxxas engine temperature and voltage sensor which also has to be connected to the ECU. I’m new to RC on this scale and don’t want to burn down my rig 😂
Many thanks 😊

I don't know how many amps any of your components draw, but you might be able to determine that by looking at your components/manuals/info sheets. But you also have to figure, you likely won't be running all of that at any given time, so there's that too. But the lights aren't drawing any amperage. The winch will only draw current when it's working. So you're left with any servos and your sensors that may draw together with the sensors. That shouldn't be more that 5 or 6 amp max, but that's just a very vague guess. You'll have to figure out your amperage needed by your components, and find out how many amps the BEC is in your ESC. You could also wire in an external BEC with more amps if needed.

Awesome thank you so much. I’m getting ready to add the wire tap for the voltage and motor temp sensors and it will have an extra plug which I can run my winch off of. I can then leave a connection open from the ECU for the BEC upgrade later
