does anyone know what temp the old trx pro .15 run at. the ones with the blue head

In summertime running, 260-280. 285 tops.
When it's cold, don't be leaning it out to run at that temp, or you'll starve it for oil.

mine ran hotter than either traxxas or most people advised, but it was the only temp it would run good at.

If I were you I leave the temp gun inside, then I would go out tune it for performance, and a good trail of smoke. Get it to run good and to your liking.

Then go inside get your temp gun and see where it is at. Remeber that after a few high speed runs it's going to be above normal temp, and if your just dogging around it will be lower than you expect as well. It's almost impossible to have these engines always run at the same temp throughout your bash session.

I agree, Lykan. It wasn't easy keeping the temp there, it always wanted to run hotter, but 285 maximum is what the LHS told me when I got it. After I got used to it, good performance and a trail of smoke is what I went for, and that usually put it at 295 to 300.
I never had a problem with it, and it was still running strong when I retired it and upgraded to the 2.5.
