This is a quote from another forum after I googled it.

We dyno'ed the TRX3.3 at about 1.07hp, which most people care about...but there is TQ and other features of the engine that people look past.

Xtreme rc posted 1.42hp and a maximum of 38 oz. in. of torque for the TRX 3.3. Compared to the LRP ZR.21X which put up 1.82hp and 82 oz.in. of torque. The AE MGT 8.0 (.50) motor made about 1.50hp but 111 oz. in. of torque. Just some comparisions because i often wonder about hp and torque ratings myself.

The 1.42 was a mistake due to improper X-Dyno settings. I called it out as i have dyno tested so many TRX 3.3s its ridiculous and knew it was abnormally high.. Well sure enough if wasn't about 1-2 months later XRC mag came out and had an article explaining there dyno settings had been wrong for sometime and a lot of engines were dyno tested and the inflated #s were posted. The LRP ZR .21X was one of those engines as well that had the inflated #s.

The TRX 3.3 STOCK with a traxxas resonator pipe dynos an average of about .9HP on 30% fuel. The highest in stock form i have got one is .98HP which i have posted on my website. But they are usually in the low .9s HP in stock form.

wow, ok thanks for the info. Ill have to re-calibrate my brain about these numbers.
