ok, I purchased the Sirio piston and sleave for my 2.5 tmax..

two questions,,

1: Do I use the stock head to break-in the engine? or my Golden Horizons I ordered?

2: how do I break-in this piston and sleave? Same as the TRX 2.5? or is there a different breakin procedure?

i am pretty sure that it doesn't mattter which head u use to break it in with. and for the breakin in i would just do the same thing that u did with the 2.5

Breaking in the engine is not about the head. It is about the internals (piston, sleeve, conrod, etc.) If you use an aftermarket head, you should have no problems. If you want to break it in stock and then change to the aftermarket head, there should be no problems. You may have to make minor needle adjustments to compensate for the change in cooling properties for the new head, but that should be about it.
