I've watched several videos of RC cars on tracks. What I haven't seen are these little monster trucks on those tracks. There's a park near me with a walking trail that was a railroad track in 1938. Took my RC there yesterday and got kind of frustrated. The trail is covered in pea gravel and leaves. I could not get traction on it at all. Basically all I could do was walk with it or throw gravel everywhere doing donuts. Any attempt at a quick go straight down the trail it would spin out or slide off the trail. It was like it was ice. Plus there's a section of my lawn about fourty inches wide where I killed the grass for part of a possible track I can't seem to stay on it for nothing. In a parking lot I can go straight no problem. Is that why they don't run them on tracks? I've seen plenty of vids of them at skate parks. Is that the preferred way to run these things?

It's a new car. A Hypergo 14210 v3. It has only had three battery charges. The 2s battery is much more controllable. That 3s is...wow. I started today's run with it and although I only got 100 ft before the battery died it was a seriously fast hundred feet.
