fired it up today started straight away  lots of wheelies and just missed a tree. found that it doesn't steer so good with front wheels off the ground

First the .46 is nothing more then a low RPM helicopter motor and a supercharger is a waste of money. How are you going to force fuel and air in to a motor with intake and exhaust ports that are open at about the same time! Looks to be all it does is force more unburned fuel right throw in to the exhaust. A Collar .30 or SH .28 will smoke a .46. Do not take my work just check out other forms about both the .46 and the supercharger and you will see that most agree.

maybe i want an engine with alot of torque rather than high rpm so yes those smaller higher rpm engines would beat it but did you consider different people have different engines because they do different things e.g. rock crawling, circuit racing, drag racing.

I also think you are unable to comment on the supercharger because from the sound of it you haven't tried one. maybe people don't like them because the expect too much of them (it will be a percentage power gain (e.g. 10% gain on a 4HP engine will have a bigger power gain than a 1HP engine, 10% of 4 = 0.4=4.4 10% of 1 = 0.1=1.1) it won't be a set amount like increased by 1HP it also depends on the engine
