Hey everyone… I just made the jump from a traxxas to a real truck.. HPI 4.6 4x4.. I gotta say this big block is a far cry from what I'm used to…Anyway, just broke the truck in according to the book.. Leaned it out, and ran a few tanks through it…but all of a sudden the throttle stopped responding.. The truck doesn't shut off, it just has no throttle response.. I thought failsafe was activated, but that doesn't seem to be the problem, and the brakes aren't stuck .…Any Ideas??

Thanks

First, try changing the receiver battery's, make sure all connections are good. If all else fails, replace the throttle servo. You may have a bad servo, HPI's stock servos are known to be junk.

eh, time for the HPI warranty program. i lay 10-1 odds your throttle/brake servo puked out. think it happens to every RTR 4.6 savage x. happened to mine about 2 tanks adfter breakin.

Checked out the throttle servo this morning…It appears to be sticking. If I tap it, it will move freely for a bit, but then freeze again in the neutral position..Sounds like a bad servo.. Ill call HPI in the morning
