ok I know what you think,no it's not rich. I think it's a driveline issue. It acts like something in binding, the truck won't hit second. I know its not tuning because one day it's fast and strong, but the next it's fast then it won't hit second . its a t-maxx thats about ten years old with the .15. any thoughts?

You might want to clean the tranny and then re grease it. it might be dry from being old.. if it isnt a tuning issue that could cause it, try lubin up the bearings and oil tranny and diff's.... every so often I will just to make sure it isnt leaking and nothing is getting in there...

I have never cleaned out the tranny or diffs. I did notice that one rear wheel won't spin sometimes with the truck in the air and I am spinning the other wheel

i'm having a similar issue where my maxx wont hit second gear. two days ago it was fine, now the last few days it wont shift in to high? you might check your rear shafts to see if they are twisted. had this happen to me, where truck would not roll, and seemed to be binding. put in new shafts and it's smooth. ( however still not shifting into 2nd! lol !
