trip odometer?

i tried the search i swear.

so i wanted to add something to track the milage on the scale rigs i have. I've seen the venom speed thing, and its kinda old, and not for sale anywere but ebay, from what i can tell.

does anyone else make one that would work for a scx10? and were i could buy it? i really only need the 1 function, but ill take bells and whistles too if need be.

Maybe an older Android or iPhone running a GPS app? I know a lot of the apps have a cumulative mileage function. An HTC Hero like I had is coing for less than $20 bucks if you look.

I could probably design something and get it built fairly easily but I dont know what the cost would be to get it on a board small enough to be practical for your use. If I get some time I will look into what kind of circuits would need to be built and what it would cost and let you know.

that sounds like alot of work, I'm looking to spend less than 70 bucks on it.
theres gotta be some already for sale, i just dont know a brand to search. even a mechanical version would be ok.


maybe the venom is the only thing out there.
