So back when I was running my trucks regularly 7 years ago I was running Trinity Monster Horsepower, seemed to be a good fuel. My question is there where 2 Trinity fuels available one being the monster horsepower and they had another version out but it had a higher oil content can anybody remember what it was called?
Does Trinity still make nitro fuel?
If not what is a comparable fuel?
I have a Picco engine which does not like the super high oil content of some fuels I believe the monster horsepower had a 12% oil content.

The note i have in the box said run it with a 8% oil content in the fuel, I know oil is good for the engine but to much oil will cause it to run rough.

Sadly the monster fuel is a disco, I used to run it back in the day myself, I come to like the byrons fuel last few years

Great I really liked the fuel guess I have to ride to the Hobby shop and see what they offer now. I ran Byrons in my first vehicle an RC10GT back in 94 the hobby shop quit carrying it so I swapped to Blue Thunder then to the Trinity.

Here some other fuels guys like,
Black ops
Torco

I checked my local shops website they carry Byrons and Sidewinder I hate to pay shipping on the fuel I may ride out this weekend and see what I can locate.

I forgot to mention sidewinder, thats another well spoken of fuel

I ran out to my hobby shop today and they where closed that is about my luck so I did a look on Byron and Sidewinder website and found a new shop closer to me that carries both fuels. Of course it was closed to LOL try again tomorrow

I finally got the fuel I opted for the Byrons fuel hopefully if my yard dries out I can run one of my trucks this weekend.

True hotrod that black ops is an awesome fuel. From what I have research Byron fuels have purchased wildcat fuels that makes the black ops now. I still wish my LHS still carried the Black ops. It has a good blend of synthetic and castor oils. I have recently switched to Torco and it may be the smoothest easiest to tune fuel I have ever tried. I just wish it had castor oil not just synthetic. The power increase running the Torco is awesome though plus engine seem to run at least 10 or so degrees cooler than any of the other fuels I have ran.

i have been running Torco and VP race fuel in my Maxx's and i love them both !

I ran 3 tanks of Byrons through the REVO today and was very pleased with it just took some minor tweaking on the low end. I stopped adjusting the needles when I realized my exhaust coupler was seperating from the manifold periodically.

top fuel is way better then trinity I never had to worry about getting engine locking up like trinity gives you.

You are obviously inexperianced with fuel choice!....and an engine locking up? Because of a change in fuel?...it is solely your fault that the engine got flooded not Trinity's fault, the trinity fuel is a much better fuel as opposed to trx fuel, get your facts streight and stop posting false info,.

Personally I like Torco, you can buy it from them on Ebay for like $113 for 4 gallons with free shipping. Not a bad price, that breaks down to like $7 a quart. We only have two hobby shops that are within 100 miles of my house and all they carry is Traxxas Top Fuel and they only sell it by the quart at $13 a quart + tax. I never had a problem with the Traxxas fuel but when I tried Torco I never looked back.

OK I generally am not a burner unless I have had a few to many :) but I have read a few of your posts and most of them are complete gibberish. When Trinity was making fuel it was some of the highest quality fuel available. If you are getting engine lock-up from a fuel (need better explanation) you either have one of 2 problems a tuning problem or are flooding the engine when trying to start it (vaporlock).

I've used Sidewinder 20% and really like it. I've also heard good things about VP and Byron's.

I have gone to the Byrons as it is locally available and given where I live that is a plus LOL. I ran Byrons way back in the day as in 1994-1996 in an Ofna motor and it was a good fuel until my LHS quit carrying it. I lived in Mississippi when I bought my first nitro vehicle.
