Trimming foam inserts

I just bought Road Rage tires for my Tmaxx and mounted them on the rims and two tires just don't look right. Kind of like they're out of round. I didn't trim the foam inserts so I'm thinking about doing that. Question is: do I trim the outside and inside edges? Any input would be appreciated.

I trim mine at a 45 deg angle bfore mounting them....it gives a better edge for cornering....about 1/4" to 1/2" from the edges.....
