I’m happy to break things up because I learn and I try to improve my understanding of the beast!

The 14 mm clutch bolts came undone and engaged with the clutch bell on the 3rd tank. I reapplied proper torque as per Zenoah Manual 6.4 nm and a tiny dab of red locktite.

On the sixth tank both innerbearings on the rear end seized. I decided I wasn’t going to wait for the mail man again this time. The main objective of this article is to make friends among the community whose like minded!

1- I appreciate fabrication of parts with what I have at hand locally. It means you’ll see me do trials and error to hopefully come with something final or not ??!

2- I’m interested in racing so any constructive and friendly advice are welcome!

I came up with the idea of cutting out some dirt guard to protect my precious bearings. Its not pretty but hopefully it will reduce the wear off the rear end!

Looking forward to sharing with you friends!

@JayPey good choice adding the Outwears filters. I also like the home made dirt guards, these should go a long way in helping protect the drive train and I bet you saved a lot more money doing it yourself vs buying the pre-made dirt guards. :D

Ok might be out there but is that a paper plate? if it is I might try a 165g Frisbee or some uhm plastic and a hair dryer

Looks like the lid of a plastic 5 gallon bucket to me, but what do I know. ;) ?
Yep you got it mate! I’m a cheap dude so I went to home hardware and bought the thickest lid I could and made it! I need to find a way to make a clean 90 deg when those breaks.
