Anyone Used TRC Tires?

Just wondering if anyone has use these or any style by TRC? I'm just trying to figure out why they are so cheap at Tower?

Not sure - but it is a soft compound and may wear quicker as they are made for pulling.

If you get them let us know how they work out.

MAn the reason they are so cheap is because thats how tower works man. They do not like to hold on to stock if you check their daily sale stuff will drop in price for a certain amount of time then it goes back to full price they do this with OS engines all they time and I assure you they arn't junk. They just don't like holding on to product so they keep it moving even if they make just a small profit . X

theyre made by Trinity so i really doubt theyre junk. check out the special, rims, tires, foams, glued all for $25 a pair -xmas-

I have not run these, but have seen them on some T-Maxxes at my LHS. They are the almost the same tread pattern as the stock tires...just lighter weight. As for being designed for pulling, I'm thinking that is simply the tread style name vice their actual purpose. Either way, try them out and let us know what you think. I'd do it myself ('cause that is a damn good price), but I have too many sets of tires in my kit already.

I can't believe I'm going to do this, but here goes. Maxxcrazy88 runs the pullers on his T-Maxx. You might want to ask him how he likes them.

ask Maxxcrazy88 he has them but i dont think he runs them

They are almost the same pattern as stock but arent they reversed? The 'V' points towrds the back right? For pulling. And the shore is 40, softer. Right? The foams may be softer too. Again, for pulling. The other patterns they have look better but I havent run them so I can't say. Maxxcrazy88 ??????????

I haven't run the the TRC pullers, but I have ran the TRC Paq-Mans. They seem to be a great tire. Plus, the foams are excellent. The Pullers are softer than stock, but most aftermarket tires are. I wouldn't worry about them being too soft, though. They are made in the hardest offroad compound that Trinity makes. If you like the looks of the tire, I say go for it. They are definetely better than stock.

Christian, any tire can be "reversed" to get the the tread pattern going backwards. You can reverse the V on the stockers to give you better hook-up, but it really kills the steering. As for the compound, Backspur covered that subject for me.

all you have to do to reverse it is take the rim and tire off and put it on the other side of the truck. But as Sky mentioned your steering will suck.

Chris.... I have the tread set up so they point forward but I guess they would hook up better the other way... I think I have the softer compound but I am not sure (definetly softer than stock)...... Oh and the foams are NICE they are nice firm inserts.... Like KK said I havent ran them yet but when I get an opportunity to go to a track I'll definetly run them and give a review...

AGM that is a GOOD deal... Mine were around $25 unmounted (at a nicely stocked but extremely overpriced NSLHS)

(Not So .....)

Thanks for all the info!!!! Now we can make an 'Educated' purchasing decision :)

We'll be waiting for the review!

I should get them this week, so I'll run'em this weekend and report back.

I use the TRC Grass on my TMX - These work great and the TRC Pre-Mounted are a great value!!! I recommend the TRC Maxx tires to everyone!
