i just disassembled the engine and found one copper shim inside on the head, and yes I'm changing my fuel content to 16%, and i google on the internet, and many people said that you should remove one shim to get a higher compression for running low nitro percentage. But should I really do so?

link for the exploded view pf the engine: https://traxxas.com/sites/default/files/TRX3.3_engine-assembly_051221_0.pdf
And the part you are looking for is the ¨trx5292¨

I did a search this morning and didnt find much. What I did find is the engines make less power and have a smaller range on the needles where an engine will run good so tuning is harder. Use smaller adjustments
Most said you can make them run okay though. I am wondering if you might have to investigate a different heat range on your glow plugs.

Ignore the airplane part. Glow plugs are all the same.
