I used the FlySky GT3B in my T-maxx and it works beautifully.few questions before you can get any real solid answers.
when it is trying to take off, is the engine idling or is it revving up?
are your trims set correctly on your remote for throttle at least?
what does your idle gap look like?
yes a flysky setup will work just fine, you do need both receiver and transmitter to work. they are usually sold in pairs, but just make sure of it.
i liked my GT3c, i did upgrade to a Spektrum DX5c and it is pretty minimal but i can tell a difference with response times on the DSMR receivers, the DSM2 is really similar response. i just ran out of model memory for the FlySky GT3C, and i did not feel comfortable being able to "hack" them to have more, and a friend was needing one anyway.I used the FlySky GT3B in my T-maxx and it works beautifully.
Got it for 40$ on Amazon.
