does anyone know what are really good batteries for a traxxas summit?
i have 3 sets of stock batteries 8.4v 3000 mah nad they last maybe 15 mins.

has anyone bought batteries from john the battery guy which is fastrcbatteries.com?

what about life batteries, whats the pros and cons of those
let me know your thoughts and opions

i understand higher mah battery is longer run time

what about a brand of battery people use that are good or from a certain company
there are so many out now that how knows whats good and whats junk
what about life batteries?

Life are used more for receivers and transmitters due to that they have almost no shelf discharge usually you dont see to many people using them for "main power"....just go with a lipo they are tried and true and pack a punch just remember to get the proper charger and a lipo cut off

+1 on lipo I am going to be building up the lipo colection for all the electrics because thats gonna be about the best battery no matter what....

Quick dumb question with a brushed rc is there a such thing as to bif=g of a lipo?????

What are good brands of lipo to use and to stay away from
i have been reading good things about spc
is there any difference between brands if they are a 20c battery

For budget brand i would go with gensacearespammers or Turnigy can get really decent batteries for under $40

The spc batteries i am hearing give awesome run times.
I was told they are getting over 60 min runtimes
has anyone used these?
