Anyone know a good gear ratio for Revo 3.3 with the Trencher X 40 series tires

14/40 or 14/38 should be good.

So I changed the spur gear to 40 tooth but I still don't have the bottom end I want my engine seems to be tuned right and also when I run it for awhile I think it heats up the clutch to much and revs high but moves fairly slow so I think the tires are just to much for the stock set up just my opinion but thought i would open it up for discussion any thoughts

Slipper clutch.
Or the real clutch, if its getting that hot it may be shot or at least have a glaze to it that's not letting it really lock in.
