Traxxas Optidrive

Hi guys and Mustanggirl. I have a Traxxas Nitro's and was wondering if I can replace the Traxxas Recievers for 2.4Ghz without affecting the Optidrive. I guess I would probably lose reverse but I can live with that as long as everything else works.....
Can anyone shed light on this?

Sure, Al. 2.4 vs AM or FM is just the signal it's operating on. it won't have any effect on anything else.
