Traxxas Head Compatibility Question

Hey Friends,

I haven't been posting much in the last couple weeks, actually Had surgery on my head 1.5 weeks ago. So I haven't really had the energy to toy with my rigs. As well my NitroSport 3.3 project was delayed weeks ago, due to a stupid mistake, cross threading my plug in the 3.3 cooling head.

So my question now, I'm short on cash and can't afford to replace the powertune cooling head for the trx 3.3. Though I have some store credit, So I I have enough to grab a 2.5 head, which to my visual knowledge will fit. Anyone have idea on how well the heat will dissipate compared to the 3.3 head?

the 2.5 head wont fit because the 2.5 is a .15 or .18(i forget which exactly) and the 3.3 is a .20

Hmmm Are you sure? If you look under the 2.5 parts on A Main Hobbies it lists the Powertune used on the 3.3 as a optional head. So wouldn't this mean the 2.5 head would be cross compatible?

hmm i'm not sure..you may want to wait till somebody with a lil more knowledge about traxxas to help you out

Yeah I'm Confused, Though I'm thinking its not going to work. Yikes I need a head for my 3.3. Anyone want to trade me $30 paypal in exchange for $30 A Main Hobbies store credit?
