Ok guys looking for some input on this. I got a emaxx 3906 with upgraded trans. Woundering how this system will work in it. Got a deal on a brushless system a hobbbywing SC-10 esc and turnigy 4 pole 3900kv motor with a turingy nano tech a-spec 4200 mah gold series lipo battery with lipo charger for 140 canadian. If I put a 15 tooth pinion in will this be a alright set up? As of now it has a 66 tooth main spur in it. Going to get a 56 spur and a 15 tooth pinion? What would you recommend? Thanks guys

Really? Ok thought changing the pinion gear would make that a good setup to run with the 2 speed trany? Thanks for the reply

That combo really doesn't have the torque needed to move your E-Maxx reliably for very long. You will probably end up blowing either the ESC or motor or both.

Traxxas doesn't even recommend running their 3500kv vxl on it. Even if your gearing was low enough the truck is gonna be slow. If you decide to try it you need to leave the 66 tooth on it and run 15/66. Not by any means saying you should even try it. It'll work for awhile
