Hi All

I've been looking to buy an RC buggy to have some fun with and came accross the traxxas E revo VXL brushless which fits my budget and imo looks quite cool.

Does any one have any comments to make about this buggy poistive or negative?

All I'm after is a buggy or similar to have a bit of fun with on and off road costing no more than £300 all in, electric or nitro.

I used to build and race about 10 years ago so i wouldnt mind if i had to build it.

Hope you guys can help

Thanks in advance

The eRevo is actually considered to be a monster truck. That being said, I would highly recommend it. It's handling is second to none in the monster truck world and they are extremely fast. I'm guessing since you're saying that it's the VXL that you're looking at the 1/16 scale version. I have one and really love it.

The E Revo 1/16th scale has the VXL Velinion system stock. If you mean the full sized E Revo, it comes with a brushed motor/ESC system unless you buy the $700.00+ version that comes with the Mamba brusheless system. The brushed version is almost $500.00. As for the Mini E Revo 1/16th (MERV) with the VXL Velinion system, I have one and it absolutely rocks. It is really fast using the stock battery, but put in a LIPO battery and the thing FLIES. In your budget, and I assume the 300 Pounds Sterling translates to about $375.00 US, then yes, the MERV is definately a truck you will be satisfied with. Make sure to get LIPO batteries though as they make the MERV so much more fun. Traxxas makes 6 different cars based on the MERV chassis. I have all of them except the Summit and each one drives like a different animal. Consider the Mini Slash, it is also a great truck, but a little bit more difficult to drive than the MERV.
