Traxxas 2.5/2.5r differences

I am looking on FB Marketplace at a Revo 2.5 to add to the collection. Seems to be an OK deal. I seem to be glutton for punishment with revos I guess. How can I tell if the engine is a 2.5 or a 2.5r? Sorry if this is a stupid obvious question.

Silver head was a 2.5. Blue head is a 2.5r. Basically a gimmick like everyone else does.

To add to what @Chubaka said: The silver head is a basic cast aluminum head. The blue one is a machined aluminum head.

Everything else is the same. The head is the only difference.

One head is basic looking and the other looks nicer with the blue machined look. The machined blue one is to offer better cooling capabilities.
