Does anybody here trap? Like animals. not like mice in the basement either. i'm talking coyotes and foxes and stuff. I'm trying to get into it, and found a bunch of my dads traps. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

I go out couger trapping sometimes, but after work, my bait is a lil tired......

Oh, I like Cougar trapping....... I have a window seat at work that faces the front doors........ I watch them walk in and out day long. :) I'm sad cause the cold weather is upon us and they like to wear coats and crap!!

Sorry, Flandersander....... I'm done derailing your thread, hostages have been released. :D

I have tried it once a long time ago with my uncle....he did a lot of it. I prefer varmint hunting myself....built a nice rifle to do so.....I hate prairie dogs. I can reach out and touch one at 500 yards now....heh heh heh. However now I am in Japan....no little critters to blow up....sigh

That's a nice rifle!! I've been prairie dogging a couple of times. I borrowed my father-in-laws .22-250, I REALLY like that rifle. I also enjoyed watching him hit them with his 7-mag......practically vaporized them.:hehe:

Hey Thanks! I like it too...very heavy, bench gun only.....we made two of them....one in .308 and one in 22-250. They both pop the little vermin pretty well...lol
