transmitter rechargeble mod?

should i do the recharge able transmitter mod w/ 8 rechargeable NiCd's? the only concerne i have w/ them is that they will equal up to only 9.6 volts, is this safe to run w/ 9.6 volts instead of the usual 12? thanx

Ok, If you mean the TQ3, the operating voltage is 9.6.
What mod are you looking to do, mine? If so then I can tell you that I have had no problems. I am assuming that you have a T-maxx.

i have the rustler, but same radio almost, my dad has a tmaxx, but we decided to stick w/ regular alkalines(sp.?) so thanx anyways
