hey yall....does anybody know of a tranny for the tmaxx for .26 or what kind of gears i can run in it to make it work right....lol cuz i can't hit 2nd gear in mine so I'm thinking its a lil messed up so i wanna rebuild it.....any body know of any rebuild kits or anything..thatll handle a .26

Another tranny question

hey you guys just a quick question.....why wont the 3.3 tranny work for a 2.5 chassis.....but ill let you guys in on what I'm doin here....I'm gettin the dynamite big block chassis with a .26 on it....so will the 3.3 tranny work on that???? let me know plus the good metal gears for that same tranny just let me know where i can find it...pleaze and thank you

Well I am thinking your tranny will not hold up to the .26 so let me PM you my address...mine has the Robinson Racing gear up grade so it will be fine...lol Ok anyway assuming your gears are not stripped there is normally one of four reasons you can't hit second gear.
- First- it can be the engine is rich and not getting the proper RPM to engage it.
- Second- it could be the second gear is adjusted too high to shift.
- Third- your tranny is gummed up a bit.
- Forth- you are hitting second gear right off and never really hitting first.

yeah its not gummed up and I'm gettin this new chassis so when i get the new chassis I'm gunna go ahead and upgrade some of the gears.... and put a new cover on the tranny....so ill let ya know then
