Tranny trouble

Hey Guys and Gals, I'm having a little trouble with my maxx not shifting into second gear. I have a nice cloud of blue smoke from my exhaust but its not shifting into second in my drive way. it used to hit second right before it got to the road. What I'm wondering is which direction should I turn the screw inside the tranny or If having it to lean will stop it from shifting ( I kow that it will usually cut out at high speed which it is not doing? Any help would be great.

Danny Bonaduce once had a problem with a tranny that ended up with him going to jail for assault.

As for you, turn the adjustment about 1/8 turn counterclockwise, and it will shift earlier.

Ha Ha A different type of tranny might need more of a 180% turn thanks I'll give that a try!

That's correct. Your idle is too high, and the clutch shoes are chattering.
