my truck just kinda jumps around doesn't go anywhere could it be tha clutch inside tha tranny??? i dont know what is goin on  :flaming:

How old is the truck? Which flavor 2.5 or old style? Have you completed the break in of the engine? There are so many things we need to know to help you. Please give some amplifying information.

its and old maxx i bought it used and I'm guessin it was broke in properly i had to replace tha clutch thats about it it has a .15 on it

You might not have a proper gear mesh which would cause the jumping but not really going anywhere.

Do you still have a reverse gear in the tranny? If so do you still have the servo in place there it's supposed to be? If these are both no then you'll probably need to disassemble your tranny and take a look at the gears inside.

yes it still has reverse and the servo is workin properly ok thanks for your help

I think you have a problem with the linkage adjustment. If your servo is working correctly and you have reverse, then most likely, it's all in the linkage. My advise.... Start the engine without the Radio on. Be careful and hold the carb with you fingers and manually push and pull on the tranny linkage. You'll probably find the tranny to jump foward. If this is so, then it is definitely a linkage prob. If not use El's idea and rip apart the tranny..

no i have reverse on my truck but its not workin either

Even if it is working, try what I said before you disassemble anything. It's worth a shot.
