Is there any 2 speed tranny that will work in a xxxnt>?

Simple, I have an insane need for speed faster faster faster, and i was just curious.

Well...some gear changes...bigger clutch bell gears(pinion..or is that spur?)means higher top speed. Higher Slipper Clutch Gear number=Faster Accelleration, lower top speed.

In theory you are correct however Losi doesn't give us as many choices as AE ot TRX.

Losi only gives us (Correct me if I'm wrong) 2 bell and 3 spur choices. Losi doesn't support the XXX-NT for on road use.

I found this out the hard way while running mine on a paved oval. I had to convert to an AE bell and clutch setup and all the accompanying modifications. Big job.

If your running on the dirt and can't get enough speed your either doing something wrong or have expectations that exceed what the truck was designed for.

The Losi tripleXNT is a great truck. But if you expect a fast dragger-GO onroad. Onroad cars have the speed your looking for.

I am happy with the overall truck, but i am a speed freak, in a few month i will prob buy an on road, I'm thinkin electric though

Are you running your XXXNT on an oval track?
If so, I have some great tips.
It should be the fastest one on the track.

I'm building an AE L4 oval for this season. If oval is your thing you may want to take a look at one.

Hey FastEddy,

That AE clutch setup sounds like something I'd be interested in. I am assuming it involves chaning all the flywheel, nuts, clutch, bell, and then you need to align the motor differently? Let me know whats involved if it's not to much trouble. THANKS!
