I'm pretty much a newb to nitro but heres my problem... Yokomo GT4 RTR. When I get on the throttle I can hear the engine reving and the car looks like its trying to move but, something is stopping it from going anywhere! I guess the best way to dscribe it is, Imagine your giving your car some gas but your brakes are locked. Should I take the whole rear end apart? Should I just take it to my LHS and pay them to fix it?

Turn all of your radio gear on and set your car on the ground and try to roll it. Does it roll freely?

If the car moves freely with everything off. Then you probrably need to change your needle settings. It's more than likely set too low.

Check Your Front And Rear Drive Cups Make Sure They Havent Slide Off The Shaft There Is A Flat Spot On The Shaft Were The Set Screw Holds Make Sure The Set Screw Is Bottoming Out On The Flat Spot On The Shaft,If Its Not That Check Your Diffs,Possible Stripped Gears. Have A Nice Day;)

Care does not roll freely when radio is off. I did notice wen I disconnected the drive belt between the front and rear pullys. The rear wheels now spin freely but the front wheels seem to be binding and are stiff.... At least I know te problem is probably somewhere in the front end. Drive cups are fine. My next step will be to take apart the front diff... Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

:w00t: Thanks for the help!!! I found out it was a frozen bearing on one of the front steering blocks! Problem solved! Thanks again!!!
