Trackmate transponder system capability?

Local backyard dirt track which is an hour north from me, looking to go there in the spring
He has a trackmate system. Anyone know if I can use my mylaps rc4 (3wire) transponder with his system? Or is it only trackmate transponders?

It looks like I have to use trackmate. It's an infrared system. I'll just get 2 of them and be in my way. 30 bucks. Cheap. Mylaps are like 100 bucks.

Wonder how / where to mount the transponder in my cars?
Buggy has front window clear,.same with the slash. Rustler does not.

They will work mounted under a clear part of your body. If your unable to do that you will need to cut a small hole in your body.

Buggy, should be visible through the windshield, left clear.
Short course, should be visible through the windshield, left clear.
Truck, gonna have to make a small cutout below the windshield.
Other than that, I should be good to go.

however if the paint is translucent then that will work fine too, if it's opaque then you'll need to cut a hole.
