i went down to rampage hobbies (rampagerc.com) and rented a slash for a hour and was HOOKED if i had the money i woud of bought it right there but my dad said i had to wait till xmas so he put a deposit on it and said hell give it to me on xmas this thing was SO much fun because of waterprof electronics i was able to get it COMPLEATLY covered with mud to the point were you couldnt see the esc and the shocks had a hard time coming up when you pushed on the body i can't wait til xmas woooo!!! if any body is questoning buying one of these awesome cars go down to rampage in hydepark ny and you wil not be disapointed

according to the website, 5 for an hour or 10 for the race day plus broken parts. seems like a cool little idea.

personally i'm digging my slash. took it out yesterday and did a few table jumps in the grass and finally busted it. broken rod end ruined my day. haha

R/C rentals... There's always somebody who will beat me to the punch. Brilliant idea. I've always thought it would be a great idea to allow customer to test drive an r/c before they plunk down $600 or more.
