I was wondering if anyone know if, in fact, RPM Hobbies in Abington MA has closed. I was at their track today but when I was leaving I spoke with one of the stores next to it and I was told that the store has closed. Can anyone outhere confirm that? I hope they don't tear down the track

BTW, do you know of other tracks or bashing areas in Eastern Mass?

Thanks,

I will ask a freind who lives out there, I grew up about 1/4 a mile from that place but now live in Western MA and I was already gone when they opened it up but from what I understood they had some big plans for that place so I would be suprised if they just closed shop.

There is a nice onroad track out by the taunton galleria but I dont know of any offroad places anywhere out there. I go to madness in enfield CT now which is about 20 mins away from me.

I live in Bourne, MA and as far as I know there arent any tracks. Actually theres a little tiny track in Dartmouth, MA which isnt even worth going to. RPM's number is 781-857-1177, you could contact them to find out about the track.

Go here, there are some tracks but it doesn't specify whether they are indoor/outdoor http://www.rccaraction.com/rc/info/rctrack_srch.asp

I can't believe that someone from Mass actually responded to my post from December. I knew that there had to be at least 1 other person who was intro nitro cars/trucks in this area. :)
Since the time I put my original post, it was confirmed by their Hobbytown Quincy MA store that in fact the Abington store closed.
I know of a track near worcester. I might head over there in the spring

Oh well, I'm now just looking for construction sites near here so I can bash during weekends.

Well you have the powerlines out there that go all the way to plymouth so there are plenty of places still. You can also ride down the street to ames nowel (sp?) state park and take one of the paths out to the power lines from there and rip them I use to ride quads with some freinds out there so there are endless possibilities :) good luck
