I plan on building a dirt track in a lot next to my house.

The rough dimensions of the area are 45'x90'. I have a couple of friends getting into the hobby and we will use this track and another one quite a ways away from here to play/race on.

The front straight will be the full length of the 90' and then a technical section follows the straight. the lanes will vary from 6' to 12' in width.

Is this enough room to get a good race?

Cheers,

Jim

Any track + more than 1 R/C = enough room for a good race.

Here are some shots of our small neighborhood track.

Makes sense to me. :D

Will post scans of my drawings, in a few days, if anyone's interested.

Thanks

absolutely, share them with us. We are all interested in what others are doing. You will get feebback, along with giving others ideas...its a beautiful thing man.

How did you track turn out? Would you be so kind to post pics of track and any details of construction?
